Executive Committee
Greg Augustine – President
Harbor Pest Control
Greg, a native San Diegan, graduated from Christian High School and then UCLA with a degree in Business Economics. He started his first job as a CPA for the public accounting firm, Touch Ross & Co. Greg’s family has always been heavily involved in the “bug business.” In 1984 Greg moved back to San Diego to join his uncle, Jim Ogle, as the controller of Lloyd Pest Control. In 1995 he attended his first Pest Control Operators of California district meeting and was elected Chairman of the San Diego District. Since, he has been an active member of PCOC at the district and state levels, serving on many committees as Chairman. He and his wife of 40 years, Mary, bought Harbor Pest Control in 2002 from John and Kate Morgenroth and have been expanding the business ever since. He is still an operator in all three branches of pest control and holds his QAL agricultural pest control license. Greg and Mary have been raising their (now adult and married) four children and growing Harbor Pest Control while maintaining family values and hands-on decision-making and relationship building with their employees. They enjoy traveling to visit their kids and grandchildren in various parts of the country, sailing, hiking, and quality time with each other. They believe that paying more attention to people than numbers and taking care of both employees and customers will always result in good growth and business. As Greg says, “whether the company is large or small if it is professional and ethical,
it will stand the test of time.”
